I think Debra worded it well with "Winter Funk". The holidays are always full of ups and downs, but now, I'm afraid my mood matches the weather, gray, overcast, bad air and no more beautiful white snow falls! I'm trying to care, and I will again - I'm sure of it!
I haven't posted anything for the last couple of weeks. I don't always do it, but I guess I have been living the Thumper rule. (From the movie "Bambi") If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
I have been trying to keep busy, though. I have been scanning pictures from Pauls mom's collection. There have been some WONDERUFL and HILARIOUS pictures. I'll share!
This is Paul's Grandma - aka Manna. Do you LOVE the hat?
This is Paul. There is something about hat's that make me giggle.
I thought this was DARLING! It reminds me of the "roll over, roll over" song.
It's Rochelle, Paul, Suzanne, Ray and Bashawn - the cousins!
Nothing life changing, but I hope it made you giggle, too!

Pete's Party
Dear Pete Party Fans,
It is my turn to plan this fun event! I hope every one is planning on coming and bringing friends! Gramma Pete couldn’t resist a fun party, so we are planning a big one so that she will be there – in spirit, of course!
I tried to get Whiting’s Park up Maple Canyon this year, but it is already reserved! I asked how much it would be if we did it the week before or after and it would be $610.00. (Cough, Sputter!) It sure has changed in the last 20 years! So, to save money (not really much time) we have reserved Bennion. (She loved it there, too)
Because of the travel involved, we have reserved Bennion July 17th – 19th, Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday morning. All the camping fees are paid for! (That’s better than $600.00 – cough, sputter!) You are welcome to come ALL of the time or just some of the time. The festivities and GOOD meals will be planned for Saturday.
We will be resurrecting every one’s favorite activities; Pinochle, Horse Shoes, Shooting Range, Volleyball, Kick Ball, Camp Fires, Jam Sessions, and of course
THE AUCTION!
I even have a GROOVY Denim Camp Blanket for the raffle!
Please plan on attending and participating in this great tradition! Notice, it’s called “Pete’s Party” not just a “Family Reunion”, so feel free to bring anyone who would like to be considered family!

For The Love Of Winter...
I love the snow! It makes me happy! It brings back such fun memories.
I'm so sorry that everyone doesn't share the same joy I feel when I see it.
OK, it's a pain to drive in and those who tend to feel the cold more than I do (everyone) probably don't share my feelings. I guess it goes back to the old adage that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I also want to share a couple of before and after pictures - check it out!
OK, maybe winter isn't as colorful as summer, but it does cover the dead grass better than any grass dye we have found!
By the way, do you love that Jack is such a picture hog! He is NOTHING like Alec in that way!
